I love "Tomorrow, In a Year." Yeah music heals, but it feels like my brain's the subject of a scientific experiment. Results=positive.

The Hub seeks a mural painter

MPLS artists, check it--Hub's looking for someone to paint a mural for their Minnehaha location:

"The Hub Bike Co-op is seeking proposals from local artists to paint a mural
on the east-and south-facing walls of our store at 3020 Minnehaha Ave.
South. To be considered a mural by city licensing entities, it cannot
have content directly associated with the business on which it is
painted, in our case bicycles. We are rais
ing
funds to pay for materials and an artist's stipend. Here's the catch: We
don't own our building, and the landlord doesn't want anything
permanent to be painted on it. But everything else is okay. Painting on
Tyvek, sheetmetal screwed into the concrete, whatever you can come up
with. Let us know what your experience is, how long it might take you,
when you could start and an approximate cost, and send some samples of
your work, if you have them. Thanks, The Hub"

Gorillaz "Plastic Beach"

Three songs into "Plastic Beach," and already the album has proven its brilliance.

I remember buying the first Gorillaz album way back in the day, the day it came out, insisting to my friends this band was gonna be the hugest thing ever. I'm so glad I was right.
